KRFU SLAPS ARBITRARY FINE ON MWAMBA
The Kenya Rugby Football Union today slapped an arbitrary fine of Kshs 30,000 on the Mwamba Rugby Football Club for an unspecified "pending disciplinary case with regard to the trip to Hima 10s".
The Mwamba Club is not formally aware of the said disciplinary case and according to the treasurer of the Union, Frank Sabwa, the club will "shortly be receiving communication on the from the office on the date for the disciplinary hearing".
It was not immediately clear when and where the decision was made to impose the fine on Mwamba, as no club official has been contacted over the said case.
The deduction has been made from Mwamba's portion of the sponsorship fee for the Western Union National Sevens Circuit.
